Byron is growing! We’re expanding with new sites and new concepts so we are looking for an Area Manager (Operations Manager in our world) based in the North (in our world, this covers Edinburgh, York, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool).
You will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient operations in up to 5 Byron restaurants so we’d love it if you could demonstrate some success in a multi-site role. Due to the nature of the burger-beast, this is a fully field-based role, so will need somebody who is able to travel, stay away from home on occasion and have some flexibility around evening and weekend working because it’s important our teams can access your support when they need it.
We are not looking for a Profit & Loss analyst – it’s important to us that you’re commercial and can deliver a profitable region, but it’s just as important that you’re doing it the right way, through building and nurturing your team to deliver the best results they can whilst kicking out amazing food to happy guests.
Our Operations Managers are ultimately responsible for driving the operational efficiency and profitability of our restaurants. They are resilient, agile and accountable leaders who look to influence, inspire and manage their teams with emotional maturity and commercial awareness.
Here at Byron, we recognise we’re not all square pegs. We value authenticity and individual differences and we use Insights Discovery Profiling across all of our management positions (from Assistant Manager all the way up to CEO). We do this to ensure we’re speaking a common language, to encourage self-awareness and to give our people some tools to help them build real and impactful relationships.
You’ll never be just a number to us. There is all the good stuff you’d expect from a solid, established company; pension, holiday, a great bonus structure (quarterly paid, up to 40%), staff socials, development opportunities, alongside the opportunity to have a real impact, real quick . Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it? NOT US! (we’d prefer a burger though)
We’re on a journey. Fancy joining us?
