Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, steering, and electrical issues.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and repair software efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and repair timelines.
Must-Know Items:
- Proficiency with OBD-II diagnostic tools and software.
- Understanding of modern vehicle systems (fuel injection, ABS, SRS, TPMS, etc.).
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and wiring diagrams.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- ASE Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must own a basic set of tools.
