Purpose of the role
The Development Project Manager plays a key role in supporting project execution by managing planning, scheduling, communication, design coordination, risk management, and budget tracking.
This role ensures project timelines are met, risks are mitigated, and communication flows effectively between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
Assist team members with forward planning, identifying key tasks and durations.
Create, update, and track multiple project programmes.
Communicate key project milestones and durations to internal and external teams.
Communication & Documentation
Develop and maintain various project trackers. Ensure key project documentation is reviewed and kept up to date.
Support the Project Director in meetings by taking notes, recording actions, and assigning task ownership.
Maintain project folders and document control in a compliant manner.
Issue instructions and directions to the design team and supply chain, clearly relaying information
Collect and distribute feedback to relevant stakeholders on time.
Design Management
Assist the Project Director in managing design team meetings.
Review architectural and interior designs, identifying potential opportunities and risks together with providing feedback.
Ensure stakeholder feedback is collected using appropriate tools.
Risk Management
Update and monitor the project risk register.
Identify, track, and communicate potential project risks and upcoming challenges.
Key Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Google sheets, and Monday.com.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Detail-oriented with experience in project tracking and documentation.
Understanding of design management and risk assessment processes.
Budget monitoring and financial tracking capabilities.
