Role purpose & responsibilities:
The main purpose of the IT Operations Product Manager – POS role is to act as the main contact for Business teams to identify and define new business initiatives, to manage the end-to-end built of the product that fits into the combined visions of the Operations and IT departments.
1. Plan: Coordinates, collects and understands fully the new business initiatives and requests, the needs and vision, ensures that they are well defined and realistic. Challenge the build and implementation as per IT, legal and timeline requirements & possible constraints. Prepare the presentations, present the plan, & defend the new initiatives in different internal meetings (IT, PMO, Products updates…) for approvals before execution.

Execute: Serves as the liaison between all teams involved in the development and rollout of the product. Coordinates the definition of the new initiative, the architecture and resources needed, leads the vendor assurance and agreement from the initiation of the project plan.

Monitor and Control: Collates the periodic status updates into reports, prepares and presents the reports for all levels of management. Proactively escalates issues or potential challenges to the IT Operations Director, with a detail of the situation, of the issues, the bottlenecks, brings options of courses of action as well as a suggested contingency plan. Present status updates to all parties (IT, PMO, Business…)

Close: Supports the Rollout team by ensuring that the Product solution can be easily rolled out, that it is clearly defined in the functionalities as well as in the process to follow. Handover a clear process to the roll out the Product solution.

General: Supports with a high degree of collaboration, team spirit, awareness of the different parties’ involvements, and leads oneself with positivity. Proactively engages, follows up and updates the various stakeholders concerned. Must be able to interact at Director, Senior Director and VP levels.

The IT Operations Product Manager – POS is accountable for ensuring that all IT Operations’ new initiative(s) assigned to him/her are met with the agreed quality, within schedule and cost targets.

Assist the IT Operations Director with escalations pertaining to product developments, build issues, by gathering knowledge of other parallel projects as required, proactively offer suggestions and recommendations on the better approach to the deployments of new EMMA products for POS.
Competencies, Experience & Skills requirements:
- SAP-TMS/EMMA strong software knowledge preferable
- Administration skills and highly organized
- Strong Interpersonal Communication skills
- Independent, proactive, hands-on and takes ownership
- Managerial skills
Job requirements and qualifications:
- Minimum education: Bachelor degree
- Minimum experience: 2-3 years especially with SAP-TMS/EMMA.
- Strong experience in Project management, especially in IT-solutions build
- Language skills:
Full understanding and skilled in both written and spoken English language. Other languages is a plus
