Job description

The perfect dining experience at RIO Brazilian Steakhouse starts a long time before our steaks hit the plate. It starts with a great team who understands the product, the origins of our fresh quality ingredients and locally sourced beef as well as taking you on a culinary journey into the Tijuca Urban Forest that surrounds Rio de Janeiro, with planted walls and flowered ceilings towering above a traditional Brazilian Churrasco dining experience.

RIO is looking for outstanding individuals who are as enthusiastic about food as we are, who are happy to learn, and strive to improve not only customer service but themselves. There are plenty of opportunities to train in all aspects of service, from in-house kitchen training to Sommelier and front-of-house.

CHEF DE PARTIE

Key responsibilities:

A positive, approachable "can do" attitude is a MUST

Adhere to company food hygiene standards

Prepare hot and cold dishes to be served/displayed on the Salad bar, following all company food specifications, whilst working efficiently and maintaining the highest standards,

Adhere to company health & safety standards as outlined in the staff handbook

Be competent in COSHH & HACCP

Work closely with all team, helping to train them as well as learn along the way

ABOUT YOU:

Team player

Have a progressive background with longevity in your job role

Be ambitious & have a desire to push your capabilities to the limit

Confident in running your section & want the desire to learn all sections

Approachable, calm under pressure & go above and beyond to help your team

Career-driven, ambitious & have an obsession with all things food
