We are recruiting for a Bartender to join our team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

The Lodge at Ashford Castle is sitting within the magnificent 350 acre estate of Ashford Castle, this property overlooks magical Lough Corrib. Originally built in 1865, The Lodge offers country house charm, fine dining in Wilde’s Restaurant and an exceptional range of estate activities. One of Ireland’s finest wedding destinations, pairing warm Irish hospitality with a modern appeal.
Key responsibilities of the Bartender will include:
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, maintaining a friendly, approachable, and welcoming attitude at all times.
• Ensure the bar is consistently stocked and ready for service, preparing the necessary mise en place according to established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, following cleaning schedules and hygiene guidelines.
• Serve drinks professionally and efficiently, ensuring minimal delay and maximum quality.
• Gain thorough knowledge of the drink menu and be able to describe all offerings accurately, addressing guests' inquiries promptly and confidently.
The ideal candidate for the Bartender role will thrive in a friendly and collaborative team environment and possess strong communication skills. This is a casual position, so working hours may vary, but candidates must be available to work five days a week over seven days, including some weekends.

• Have prior experience in a similar role.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
