SUMMARY OF ROLE -FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER
The Front of House Manager leads our team of HouseJacks (Guest Services Assistants), with a passion for delivering impeccable experiences across front of house areas, serving a mix of residents, members, and guests. You come with a strong background in the management of front of house or reception operations, you are flexible and detailed, with effective communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service. You are a creative individual who can deliver entrepreneurial front of house operations with heavy focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
The Front of House Manager will report to the General Manager and will lead the way in delivering the overall guest journey. Leading the team and being an ambassador for front of house; working in collaboration with all departments to deliver a memorable service experience.
Working Hours: average of 40 per week based on an any 5 days out of 7 rota schedule in line with operational needs.
Bonus: up to 20% of salary in annual bonus, based on delivery of KPIs
Holiday: 33 days per annum (inclusive of bank holiday allowance)
We are looking for someone who has:
• Previous management and leadership experience in a guest/customer facing hospitality environment
• Positive and engaging with good interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills
• Flexible with a flair for intuitive service
• Entrepreneurial, thinks out of the box and able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies/synergies across the house
• Comfortable with smart devices and computer system technology
• Sustainably aware
• Excellent command of English both verbal and written (second language preferred but not essential)
• The right to work in the UK
The successful Front of House Manager applicant will demonstrate:
• Previous leadership experience within front of house operational experience in a hospitality or customer facing environment
• Will be a well organised, efficient and highly productive individual with a proactive and flexible approach
• Strong communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Commercially aware and entrepreneurial in outlook
• An approachable manager of people with the ability to recruit, train and develop a successful team
• Has a genuine passion for delivering personalised hospitality experiences
• Has a “Jack of All Trades” attitude to collaboration and hands on involvement across other departments
• A willingness to work flexible hours in line with business needs and requirements
• Have a good understanding of health and safety, food safety, and risk assessments
• Understanding of the company Standard Operating Procedures, acting in accordance with agreed processes at all times
• A flare for both BOH operational efficiency and FOH service standards
• Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment with an energised, engaging, and positive personality
