Job Title:

Front of House Supervisor

Winter Club, Canary Wharf  

Role Description

As a Front of House Supervisor at The Winter Club, you’ll oversee the smooth operation of the guest experience across our seasonal venue. You’ll manage the Front of House team to ensure orders from the QR system are delivered efficiently, drinks are served safely on trays, and tables are kept clean and presentable. You’ll maintain high standards of service across the Ice Bar, beer hall, and alpine lodge areas.

Zero Hour Contract, Flexible working hours, Weekend and evening work is required.

Event runs November to February 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Front of House team to ensure efficient delivery of food and drinks via the QR ordering system.
  • Monitor service standards, ensuring drinks are carried safely on trays and tables are cleared promptly.
  • Maintain smooth workflow between the bar, FOH team, and venue areas.
  • Ensure the Front of House area is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
  • Assist in setting up and resetting service areas before and after service.
  • Support the team in meeting service targets during busy periods and special events.
  • Address guest queries or issues promptly and professionally.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete all assigned training and ensure team members are following procedures.
  • Suggest ways to improve FOH efficiency and guest experience.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in the Front of House areas.

Skills

Technical

  • Experience supervising in high-volume service or event operations preferred.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively and maintain operational standards.
  • Knowledge of safe tray handling and efficient table service.

Personal

  • Flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends throughout the winter season.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Engaging and approachable manner to enhance the guest experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
