Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is currently seeking candidates for the position of Banquet Cook.  A $1,000.00 sign on bonus is included with this position. You will receive $500 after 60 days of employment and $500 at the end of the Winter season.

The purpose of a Banquet Cook is to oversee all aspects of the culinary operation, including banquet service, menus, costing, sanitation requirements, scheduling, ordering and inventory. 

Responsibilities Include

  • Establish schedule and organization in the kitchen in order to produce an efficient operation
  • Produce high quality entrees that meet established standards
  •  Assist with creation of new banquet menu, adjust seasonally as needed
  •  Maintain order and discipline in kitchen during working hours
  •  Create tasting menus for prospective Members and guests (weddings, banquets, corporate events, etc.)
  •  Maintain and enforce health standards and sanitary regulations
  • Successful culinary production for the banquet operation
  • Excellent leader and trainer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Position Requirements:

  •  Minimum 2 years of formal culinary schooling, experience as a supervisor, working knowledge of food products, cost control, menu generation
  • Excels at working together with others
  • Culinary Degree Preferred
