Brew Crew Opportunity
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® is seeking a Director of Franchise Operations. The Director of Franchise Operations will provide leadership and direction to the Franchise Business Consultants (FBCs) and set a strategy for the Franchise Business. This position will conduct regular visits and use that information to guide and set objectives for the Franchise Business Consultants and Franchisees. The Director of Franchise Operations will lead and partner with The Operations Leadership Team and market leadership on new ideas designed to increase comparative sales and improve the overall productivity of the Franchise Cafes. This position will regularly meet with the FBCs and franchise market leadership to review operations, TQE performance, market KPIs, product and sales forecasts, sales performance, and marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for new market strategic development and start up, supporting the business plans, franchisee objectives, sales projections, community involvement, infrastructure, and the development of the respective market leadership. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this position is responsible for Americas Franchise business. The Director of Franchise Operations is responsible for the market operations, Franchise adherence to brand standards, supporting market leadership, sales building efforts, franchise business reviews, and making sure that each market is operating within the direction and guidelines of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute company long-term plan for Franchise growth and becoming franchisor of choice through highly effective Franchise performance which aligns with our core values of FROTH and brand pillars.
· Responsible for Franchise engagement and leadership of Franchise Owners Meetings, Franchise Engagement Meetings, Franchise Advisory Forum and all other areas of franchise engagement.
· Provide leadership and expertise to Franchise Operators on Café sales, profitability, operational issues, loss prevention, marketing, human resources, and fiscal results.
· Develop programs designed to Franchise sales in a profitable and efficient manner.
· Share best practices across the regional franchise network, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
· Manage deployment of new products, technologies, and programs into the Franchise Business.
· Partner with Operations and Design Teams on test fits, Café design, and operational workflows for all Franchise Cafes.
· Support new Café openings & transfers by coordinating pre- and post-launch activities with franchisees and corporate operations teams to ensure readiness and success
· Develop strategic plan for the Franchise Cafes, outlining regular reports designed to monitor sales, compliance, TQE, operational performance, forecast analysis, and Guest satisfaction.
· Partner with market leadership on new ideas to generate new sales or ways in which operational costs can be reduced without compromising product quality or customer service.
· Responsible for delivering key performance indicators for the Americas Franchise business.
· Ensure that the Franchise markets maintain company TQE standards.
· Own the Quarterly Business Review process for key Franchise markets and channels.
Your Ingredients:
· Five plus years of Franchise Business Consulting, District Manager or Multi unit experience
· Ten plus years of restaurant/hospitality experience
· Well organized and detail oriented with excellent verbal and written skills
· Proven leadership skills
· Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Suite
· Able to pull and push /lift
