Just Salad is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and motivated candidate with a strong ability to problem-solve and a willingness to continuously learn. The IT intern will report to the Director of Field Tech + IT Operations and serve as a key resource for all IT-related queries at the user level across 90+ Locations (NYC, FL, CHI, NJ, PA) and Corporate (50+ members).

This position will report to our Director of IT.

This position will be on site in our NYC office.

 Intern Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to staff and on hardware and software-related issues 
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software 
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues 
• Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance 
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of computer systems 
• Perform system backups and maintain accurate records 
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems 
• Organization of new equipment and existing inventory 
• Assist with new store opening installations 
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems 
• 60-70% travel across NYC

 Information Technology (IT) Intern Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or in progress with anticipated graduation 
• Knowledge of computer systems and software/AV 
• Knowledge of network and system security 
• Familiarity with hardware and software installation 
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
• Strong communication and customer service skills 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team 
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology

 Time Commitment & Compensation:

• 40 hours per week (FT) 
• Free Just Salad lunch while working
• Weekly Stipend ($400-$600/week) pending on experience
• June 3, 2025 - August 22, 2025 (12 weeks)
