We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Manager of Luxury Hotel Room Sales to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for representing, selling, and booking corporate events at LDV at the Maidstone working across all segments, including corporate offsites, business travel, and social event and wedding blocks. The Manager of Event Sales will play a crucial role in cultivating strong relationships with potential clients, managing event bookings, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the planning and execution phases.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in luxury hotel sales, with a focus on corporate business development.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities to funnel to the hotels
    • Cultivate relationships with event planners, travel managers, corporate clients, and wedding coordinators to drive revenue across all hotel segments.
    • Maintain a detailed pipeline of potential business and ensure proactive follow-ups with clients.
    • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve room and event revenue goals.
    • Oversee the planning of all events booked and coordinate with on site operations and f&B teams for execution
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that all event logistics are tailored to their preferences.
    • Provide high-level customer service and personalized attention to clients throughout the entire event planning process.
    • Maintain a strong network of clients and key industry contacts.
    • Handle all client inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and efficient manner.
    • Work with the hotel’s revenue management team to ensure that pricing strategies for group bookings and events are competitive yet profitable.
    • Negotiate event contracts, catering packages, and room block agreements, ensuring the highest possible margin.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns targeted to corporate, social, and wedding clientele.
    • Participate in local industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and event bookings in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and potential opportunities for growth.
    • Work closely with other hotel departments, including front desk, operations, and catering, to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Train and mentor junior sales staff or new team members as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience in luxury hotel sales, event planning, and/or hospitality management, with at least 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate, social, and wedding event sales and operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
