Description
Rí Rá (roughly translated as “Good Fun”) has been a labor of love for Ciaran Sheehan and David Kelly, two childhood friends from Ireland, since they emigrated to the USA in the 1990’s. The duo’s mission was to create a gathering place like those pubs that they knew so well from their hometowns in Ireland. Such a place would have authentic Irish interiors, would be welcoming to all and would act as a “social hub” for the local community; a “Real Irish Local”. Rí Rá in Uptown Charlotte, NC, encompasses a fantastic, 2-storey, community oriented pub & restaurant, an outdoor deck, as well as two other brands (the Rí Rá Sandwich Shop and Uptown Coffee Co.)! We want people who support our Mission (to “Create Experiences That People Love”) and want to have fun in achieving it!

- You ideally have experience in a high-volume kitchen
What You Will be Doing
- Working with a high temperature dish machine to clean plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
- Manually cleaning pots, pans, kitchen utensils and equipment as required
- Adhering to all Company SOP’s with regards to health & sanitation
- Keeping dish station clean, organized and inspection ready at all times
- Cleaning and maintaining all small-wares and equipment in the kitchen
- Maintaining trash and grease storage areas
- Deep cleaning floors, walls and hood vents as directed
- Completing some basic food prep duties as directed
- Ensuring that set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
- Ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and the BOH facility in general to include restocking of cleaning chemicals, hand towels, hand soap and safe handling of food related items, tools or vessels
